Founded in 1840 by Monsieur Perrin, the company transported stone for urban development in his home town of Lausanne, on the shores of Lake Geneva.

The company rapidly expanded & within just a few years had more than 80 horse and cart teams working nationally across Switzerland. In 1926, Colonel Lavanchy bought the company.

Several generations later and without a successor, the company was sold and rebranded Transit’air.

Today, our highly experienced team provide tailor-made services for shipments by road, air and sea. We specialise in high value goods, time & temperature sensitive merchandise, event support, warehousing and customs clearance ensuring everything you entrust to us arrives
